An ambitious walk along a high track running south of the Sava River between Kranjska Gora and the Brunarica Pri Ingotu dom then down via Spodnji Martuljkov (waterfall).

The walk starts from our hotel, Hotel Miklic, then crosses the River Pisnica on a high-level footbridge.

The route climbs out of the valley to head along the 1994 Connector trail to the dom. At one point we had to negotiate a gorge on rickety bridges.

We had lunch at the Brunarica Pri Ingotu dom — a stew made of sour fermented cabbage, ham, potatoes, and beans — washed down with the usual.

After a paddle we made our way down past the waterfalls to joint the track of the old railway for the journey to the hotel.
